Printouts of your family history are available from BFNA. These are not you typical pedigree charts or family group sheets (although those are available if you want them). These are narratives, more like a book. All the cousins in a single generation are listed together in a single chapter. The next generation back is listed in another chapter.
Many of these printouts are available going back 14 generations to Ralph Blesdale, our original common ancestor who came to America in 1635 – and 6 generations back in England to Richard Blesedale, born about 1423. That’s TWENTY GENERATIONS!
It’s a great gift for children. Every student has a family history assignment some time. It would be a nice gift for newly-weds. Share your heritage and pass it on.
Notes frequently include occupation, military service, and usually the source for documentation
If your line needs updating, ie. Weddings, births, deaths, and significant events – you should send those in to Ellie, and she will add them before sending you the printout. (You should be sending in all those “Vital Statistics” every year anyway!).
We ask for a suggested minimum donation to cover the cost of paper, ink, and mailing costs.
